Commissions
I consider commissions a special collaboration between the client and myself, resulting in a uniquely personalized and meaningful final product. My preferred subject is semi-abstract nature and landscapes, and I revel in finding where my artistic vision intersects with and enriches the vision of the client to create a one-of-a-kind piece that speaks to the hearts of the collector and viewers.
The Process
Contact me at eunice@byeunicelee.com or via the contact page and share with me your vision or ideas to get started. Details that are helpful:
Who the commission is ultimately for
Where the painting will be displayed
The subject
Desired color palette
However, it's okay not to know all of these details yet because that's where my artistic vision comes in!
I will then contact you to discuss the details and any questions to better understand the goal of the commission.
If we agree to move forward with the commission, I will then send you an invoice for a non-refundable 50% deposit that will place your painting in my work queue. (This deposit helps cover the cost of time and materials.) Work on the painting will only commence after receipt of the deposit. Alternatively, a payment plan in smaller increments can also be discussed if needed.
The turnaround time for a painting is typically about 2-3 months.
When the painting is finished, I will send an invoice for the remaining 50% plus any applicable shipping cost and tax. Upon receipt of payment, the painting will then be shipped or handed off. My preferred method of payment is by credit card via Stripe or Zelle.
